This position is Hybrid and eligible for telework up to three (3) days a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

The Associate Governmental Program Analyst list will be used as an appropriate list; therefore, candidates must meet minimum qualifications for both the Associate Personnel Analyst and Associate Governmental Program Analyst classifications.
Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Associate Personnel Analyst (APA) is responsible for performing a variety of complex analytical duties related to classification and pay (C&P) and providing consultative Human Resources related support services to assigned contracted client agencies and programs. The APA may act as a lead over complex projects and/or lower-level staff.
This position promotes and is accountable for customer satisfaction and quality service and provides recommendations and changes that promote innovative solutions to meet customer needs, in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and Department of Human Resources (CalHR), State Personnel Board (SPB), and Department of General Services (DGS) policies and procedures.
