Job Description
Purpose of position: Under general supervision, the Human Resources Generalist performs a variety of specialized administrative and clerical duties in support of the Human Resources Function. Employees in this job class maintain detailed employee data in HRIS and Payroll Systems, create and maintain confidential employee files, provide benefit and other information to employees, and process Human Resources transactions. This job requires general knowledge of Human Resources requirements, advanced administrative and organizational skills, the ability to administer specialized processes and to maintain detailed records and files.
Essential Functions: (must be able to perform these functions, with or without a reasonable accommodation).
- Substantiates applicants' skills through reviewing applications.
- Schedules interviews by coordinating appointments.
- Provides payroll information by collecting time and attendance records.
- Submits employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping Human Resource information confidential.
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
- Assist in creating all status changes needed and submit to Payroll
- Attendance tracking and sending out disciplinary notices
- Approving EE referrals payouts, pto request, sales sign on then submit to payroll for processing
- Submission of term forms for all depts to payroll for processing.
- Tracking of payroll time in position increases
- Submitting make up checks, corrections to payroll for processing.
- Initial work comp packet completion and entering on RisxFacs Sytsem
- Worker Compensation tracking and updating
- CBA Enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Tracking of all accidents and any disciplinary actions towards Driving Standards Policy
- Writing of all disciplinary notices and tracking them
- Processing and tracking of all leave of absences
- Company policies updates
- Unemployment hearings
- Assist in administering random drug testing both DOT & Non DOT
- Auditing E-Screen to ensure new DOT EE are added and terminations removed
- Assigning & Tracking monthly Brew U training
- Compiling and sending out monthly training results to departments
- Assist in tracking and gathering updated DL and Medical Cards
- Assisting in Writing of all disciplinary notices and tracking them
- Unemployment correspondences
- Tracking of expiring I9’s and letters to employees
- Setting up company events for assigned facility.
- EE Relations (questions, assistance with brewU, boot vouchers, passports for DOT Physicals, uniform issues, new timecards, etc…..)
Skills, knowledge and abilities: (these are required to enable job holder to perform the essential functions of the job).
- Three years’ experience providing skilled customer service and clerical support, preferably in Human Resources or administration;
- Ability to communicate effectively and respond to questions and requests;
- Effective written communication skills using appropriate business English;
- Computer literacy to use business software, the Internet, enter data/retrieve data;
- Human relations skills to build effective working relationships;
- Demonstrated customer service, problem solving and common-sense skills.
Experience and Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
A comparable combination of formal education and work experience will be considered

Position is considered to be sedentary and no unusual physical requirements are necessary to perform daily tasks. Position duties may require incumbents to lift, carry heavy objects (up to 25 lbs.) on a non-routine or daily basis.
