Apply business advice of technical accounting and financial reporting standards, proactively identifying and articulating emerging technical issues. Apply auditing standards and firm audit methodology, reinforce compliance requirements, and evaluate and respond to the results of audit procedures. Provide clients value through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. Use project management skills to maximize the effectiveness of the audit, managing and prioritizing issues based on materiality and risk. Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for clients. Supervise and coach professional teams.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $152,500/yr.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Mathematics, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field plus 6 years of related work experience, of which 5 years must be post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Mathematics, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field, plus 4 years of related work experience.
Certification(s) required: US CPA license or foreign equivalent.
Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:
• Applying the audit approach, including the application of applicable auditing standards and firm audit methodology;
• Managing large projects by developing project teams, assessing engagement risks, driving conclusions, reviewing, and delivering projects;
• Working with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (U.S. GAAS) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards; and
• Advising on strategic business issues and trends, anticipating the impact of technology developments on client needs, and surfacing relevant behavioral patterns as potential trends.
80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.
Travel requirements: Domestic and/or international travel up to 20% is required.
