In conjunction with HR Director, the HR Coordinator is responsible for HR activities in support of the company goals and initiatives. Responsibilities include support and coordination in the following areas: employee relations, recruitment, training, benefits, performance, compensation, policies and legal compliance. Works closely with employees and managers and all departments within the company.
Full Time Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5pm and Friday 7:30am-11:30am.

Salary: $24.00 - $32.00 / Hour
- Recruitment; post jobs, coordinate interviews and interact with temp agencies and hiring managers internally; establish recruitment relationships and sources at local colleges. Attend Job Fairs as needed.
- Administer employee benefits enrollments, changes and resolve issues.
- Update job descriptions, policies and other HR documents as needed.
- Track and update attendance for policy compliance and payroll purposes
- Problem solving with employees and managers
- Record keeping related to leaves of absence, paid time off, benefits and other HR requirements.
- Reporting and tracking of HR data as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external partners in the areas of; recruitment, training & development, grants, safety, and other HR related needs
- Plan and coordinate Company sponsored events including; employee appreciation, holiday parties, picnics, wellness initiatives, and other events.
- Organize, coordinate and record employee training & development to meet the needs of the organization.
- Support compliance with all safety programs, as per company, state and federal guidelines
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas
- Bachelor degree in HR, business or related field or equivalent experience
- Work experience in Human Resources, Customer Service, Recruitment and/or benefits preferred
- Experience with ADP or comparable HRIS preferred
- Manufacturing company experience preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable in fundamental HR principles, practices and legal requirements.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
- Strong computer skills in MicroSoft Word and Excel required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to speak and listen to employees at all levels to resolve employee concerns and questions
- Detail oriented and able to multi-task
