POSITION PURPOSE:
The HR & Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for the administrative and communication functions that support the Human Resources and Recruiting Departments. Ensures all Briggs Industrial Solutions standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Oversee HR pre-boarding for new hires to include offer letter generation, completion of background and drug screens for pre-employment, updating all relevant trackers, etc.
2. Manager HR onboarding process to include inputting new hire into the HR system, reviewing/approving onboarding forms, uploading new hire documents, processing/maintaining I-9 documentation, etc.
3. Manage requisition approval and posting process in the HR system
4. Schedule and pre-screen candidates through phone interviews and submit qualified candidates to Recruiting Team based on the provided culture fit and position description
5. Utilize external job boards to post open positions, attract qualified candidates and conduct initial screenings
6. Generate and maintain various weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual HR & Recruiting department reports
7. Maintain team member electronic files by uploading employment documents, etc.
8. Complete verifications of employment and provide timely responses to third party vendors
9. Complete miscellaneous HR & Recruiting projects and other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Knowledge & Competencies:
• Excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills
• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to work with multiple users at all levels of the organization
• Strong attention to details and high level of accuracy while maintaining tight deadlines
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams
Previous Experience/Education:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• 1+ years' experience in an administrate support role
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Working conditions are normal for an office environment
• Frequent use of hands to manipulate the keyboard
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
