As part of the People and Culture department, this role actively contributes to team projects for the benefit of all employees. Creating and maintaining a positive employee experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in talent acquisition and the recruiting process.
- Provide HR support to employees and managers.
- Understand Federal and State employment laws.
- Assisting with onboarding, new hire orientations and benefit administration
- Field employment/policy related inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers; referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the director.
- Administrative support including file maintenance and record keeping.
- Participate in audits.
- Payroll Processing
- Other duties may be assigned.
Job Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent time management
- MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Team Engine and UKG a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
