Recruiter/Hr Generalist

As part of the People and Culture department, this role actively contributes to team projects for the benefit of all employees.  Creating and maintaining a positive employee experience.

Job Responsibilities:       

• Take the lead in talent acquisition and the recruiting process.
• Provide HR support to employees and managers.
• Understand Federal and State employment laws.
• Assisting with onboarding, new hire orientations and benefit administration
• Field employment/policy related inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers; referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the director.
• Administrative support including file maintenance and record keeping.
• Participate in audits.
• Payroll Processing
• Other duties may be assigned.

Job Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent time management
• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Team Engine and UKG a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
