HR Specialist/Recruiter: Entry Level

Here at Green City Security we actively recruit and speak with security officers to find the best talent in the industry. Green City Security is a private security guard company focused on providing security guard services in the Greater Houston area. Our goal is to find candidates who will perform their security work while upholding our values of honesty, professionalism, integrity and joy.
Schedule:
3 days during the week, 8 hours per day. Must be able to work Wednesday from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. Total of 24 hours per week. This is a flexible position, let us know what is your availability and we can accommodate.
Essential Duties:
Create job postings and source qualified candidates for security guard positions. review applicants on a centralized digital platform, request and perform interviews via Google Meet and in person, complete new employee onboarding and hiring process by making sure all proper employee information is uploaded to our software. Develop employee initiatives for security guards and act as a people resource for the team. Assist with distributing payroll and other in office clerical tasks.
Qualifications
A can-do positive attitude and fast learner
- Experience in HR or administrative setting performing similar functions is required
- To be comfortable speaking with candidates via online video and in person
- To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

- Must possess the ability to work independently with little supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; research ability; and mathematical skills
- Ability to clearly read, write and speak English required
- Proven excellent customer service skills and ability to be flexible, a team player
- High level of proficiency with Pages, Numbers, Sheets, Docs, and computer data entry
- Excellent organizational, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a team player
- High School Diploma with relevant experience or Undergrad college senior studying HR, Business, PR, Communication. Psychology or similar field preffered
Physical/Mental Requirements And Working Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use both hands, is frequently required to stand, sit, stop, talk and hear (communicate verbally in person and via telephone), and be able to read computer screens, correspondence and reports
- The employee must occasionally walk, reach with hands and arms, and drive a vehicle
- The employee must be able to concentrate on details, work under deadline pressures, apply sound logic and judgment, and prioritize tasks
- Must be able to focus and multi-task in busy environment, with the ability to successfully handle stressful situations in a calm and professional
