Human Resources Manager Summary:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the Director of Human Resources in supporting designated geographic area. This position carries out responsibilities in benefits administration, employee relations, payroll, onboarding, recruitment, affirmative action, and employment law compliance.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Administers, distributes, and communicates benefit information to all eligible employees.
- Oversees multi-facility payroll in a timely manner and ensures the accuracy of payroll data including reconciliation of timecards and punches in the payroll system.
- Conducts recruitment efforts for all exempt and non-exempt personnel, temporary employees, and volunteers in specified geographic area.
- Conducts new employee orientations; monitors career-pathing program; and writes and places advertisements.
- Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
- Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as requested.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Responsible for the completion of day-to-day paperwork relating to Human Resource's function including employment verifications, references, personnel change of status forms, and competencies.
- Ensures personnel folders follow regulations.
- Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all facility personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; maintains the employee handbook.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or another related field. A minimum of one to two years of Human Resources Generalist experience. Healthcare experience preferred.
