New Life Staffing has a direct hire HR Manager position open with a client in King of Prussia.
As the Human Resources Manager, you will be a pivotal force in steering HR policies and programs, providing comprehensive support to our organization.
Directly reporting to the CEO, you will take charge of managing all facets of the employee experience, crafting scalable programs to enrich our vibrant culture.
This role encompasses oversight of daily human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll and benefit administration, PTO & leave management, retirement planning, and employee relations.
Your role is crucial in offering guidance and fostering partnerships with management and employees on various HR-related matters. Success in this position requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, confidentiality, and a customer-service mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive programming to enhance employee engagement and morale.
- Administer company-wide payroll, health benefits, and retirement programs.
- Oversee the Leave Administration process.
- Manage employee relations and resolve workplace conflicts promptly.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and recommend appropriate actions.
- Oversee performance management, employee recognition, and employee development processes.
- Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding activities.
- Collaborate with managers on staffing issues, identify recruitment needs, and participate in the recruitment process.
- Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, work assessments, and evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Stay informed about trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Execute additional HR projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of human resource management experience.
- SHRM-PHR certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive HR matters with discretion.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
