The Human Resources Associate Manager will provide leadership and functional HR management support to field sales & warehouse teams in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area specifically supporting Pittsburgh, PA and Youngwood, PA within the Pennsylvania Market in PBNA’s North Division.
Responsibilities
- Strategically lead and fully execute key HR initiatives that support PepsiCo’s vision
- Support local Pittsburgh team through the change management processes since the move into a new building in Sept of 2023
- Continue to guide leaders and help them execute additional transformation for the location
- Guide leaders and frontline employees regarding company policies, values, labor and employee relations, HR program administration (benefits, pay and salary) and interpretation to ensure policies and procedures are executed consistently across the site
- You will be responsible for diagnosing organizational issues, developing solutions and implementing action plans
- Partner with leadership teams on performance management to develop pipeline and succession plans
- Design and execute staffing strategies for exempt/non-exempt hiring needs (including campus recruiting). Partner with local teams to ensure ongoing outreach activities
- Consistent Onsight support for locations in scope
- Develop and execute site-level strategies to improve Organizational Health and culture
- Lead and participate in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives
- Ensure activities are in compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations
What will make you successful?
- Understanding and experience with most or all the core aspects of Human Resource Management (employee relations, staffing, labor relations, performance management, leadership development, coaching and training)
- Ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionable items
- Powerful and confident communication skills with the ability to effectively present to all levels of the organization
- Ability to understand the business operations from both a strategic and tactical perspective
- Previous talent management and organizational planning experience
- Demonstrable ability to influence decision-making with leaders and business partners
- Courage to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professionalism and poise
- Comfortable working in ambiguous business situations and competing priorities
- Solid expertise in developing solutions based upon facts/data analytics
- Consultative style and approach with the ability to develop credible relationships with business partners
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650 based on a full-time schedule.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; major in Industrial/Labor Relations, Human Resources Management, Psychology, or another related field preferred
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Labor Relations, or Human Resources Management preferred
- Prior Human Resources and Leadership experience of 3-5 years
- We are looking for candidates with experience supporting front-line employees, field-based client groups who have experience practicing HR in a manufacturing or distribution center environment and in-depth labor relations/union experience is preferred
- This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
