Job Description: Human Resource Generalist
Overview:
Administers all benefits related programs for all employees. Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Manager on all personnel matters.
Compensation Range:$60,000 - $80,000
Key Responsibilities:
Completes benefit processing
Assists employees with benefit enrollment, benefits related concerns.
Processes forms for administration of benefit plans (e.g flexible spending plan, medical insurance, life, vision & dental insurance) through data base entries and websites.
Maintains and updates employee information in all pertinent benefit systems
Keeps records of benefit plan participation, leaves of absence, workers comp, and employee statistics for government reporting
Assists employees with inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
Assists with benefit new hire orientation
Maintains benefits filing system
Completes various monthly reports for Corporate and as needed.
Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan,
Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental, vision, and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier.
Conducts exit interviews
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or the equivalent is required.
Associates degree with 6 hours accounting credits or 2 to 5 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Clean MVR past three years
Authorized to work in the US
Able to meet ATF and regulatory security requirements.
- No Felonies
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience in HR/Admin roles.
Strong emotional intelligence and people management skills.
Able to effectively communicate with employees and coworkers.
Knowledge of principles and procedures for compensation and benefits.
Able to use basic computer programs.
Able to develop Excel Spreadsheets.
Able to explain policy procedures and benefits.
