Hr Generalist / Training

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will design, develop and deliver Manufacturing/Operations training systems and organizational development solutions. Improve the productivity of the American Trim team by advancing the skills within the existing workforce and effectively training new employees.

Job Responsibilities:

• Partner and collaborate with leaders and their team members to assess and identify the skills needed in their respective areas.
• Coordinate and partner with leadership and subject matter experts in the design and delivery of program content.
• Drive continuous process improvement through problem identification and solving.
• Design and implement effective training methods to educate and improve the performance and productivity of employees.
• Facilitate training programs, workshops and training review sessions as needed.
• Organize and conduct train the trainer sessions enabling delivery and support across all locations.
• Manage the LMS system and training requirements, conduct training needs assessment by job group
• Oversee skilled trades apprentice program.
• Conduct follow-up of completed training to evaluate and measure results. Modify programs as needed.
• Work effectively with other members of management and the HR staff to manage training plans for new hires and inter-department moves.
• Supervise Plant Technical Trainers
