Payroll Clerk / Hr Generalist

We are seeking a Payroll Clerk / HR Generalistto join our team! This position will perform administrative duties to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's payroll and human resources department.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Driver Qualification Files
• Manage and ensure random drug tests are completed.
• On-board and train new employees
• Submit and maintain payroll via Paylocity. Other payroll functions include answering questions from team members, fixing processing errors, and insuring payroll is complete and accurate.
• Maintain accurate human resources records and documentation.
• Answer frequently asked questions from team members as they pertain to standard policies, benefits, etc.
• Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of payroll, driver's qualifications and human resources files.
• Provide management with requested reports and documents.
• Accurately maintain employee files
• Track employee attendance.
• Assist with planning and execution of special events such as open enrollment and parties.
• Track FMLA and ADA
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations professionally.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Associate's degree in related field or prior experience in Human Resources and/or Payroll.
• Knowledge of labor and employment laws
• Ability to build rapport with all team members
• Ability to complete a task from start to finish
