TMD Staffing is looking to hire an HR Generalist in the Columbia, MD area!
WORK ENVIRONMENT

RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as a primary point of contact for employees and management regarding employee relations matters.
Provides guidance to management and employees with disciplinary actions, performance reviews, performance improvement plans, ADA interactive process, and conflict management issues.
Provides guidance, expert interpretation of policy, and training to the organization to mitigate potential risk.
Review and update HR policies to align with changes in employment laws and company needs.
Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of misconduct, harassment, discrimination and/or policy violations.
Prepare detailed investigation reports with appropriate recommendations and aid in executing recommendations.
Develops, conducts and/or takes part in specialized presentations and training, covering operational and/or technical HR-related information for specified areas of expertise.
Facilitates the preparation of replies and the collecting of information for EEOC claims, unemployment, employment verifications or any employment law related court cases, charges or complaints.
Coordinates and/or facilitates the preparation of employee engagement activities, parties, events and other work-related functions.
Responsible for maintaining confidential records, documentation and tracking data for employee relations activities and trend analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree
2 years+ experience
PAY RATE
$60,000.00 - $70,000 yearly
SCHEDULE
Monday - Friday, 8-hour Day shift
