Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Director to lead our organization in fostering a culture of engaged and motivated employees. As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee Human Resources, Safety, and Employee Training processes, driving the integration of teamwork, communication, and positive recognition throughout the company. Your role will be instrumental in shaping and championing our desired organizational culture.
Essential Functions:
- Employee Engagement Oversight: Take charge of, connect, and enhance employee engagement processes across the entire employment life cycle, including:
- Human Resources Processes:
- Safety Management System Processes:
- Employee Training Processes:
- Policy Development: Innovate and refine HR and workplace policies aligned with the business's strategic goals.
- Corporate Communications: Take charge of overseeing all corporate communications, ensuring clarity and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Compliance Management: Monitor and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including employee law, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Drive awareness and initiatives to enhance diversity and inclusion within the organization.
- Employee Engagement Enhancement: Develop, oversee, and continually improve employee engagement processes, including suggestion programs, self-directed work teams, and employee wellness programs.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and refine leading performance metrics for all areas of responsibility, aligning them with corporate objectives and targets.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Demonstrated expertise in the human resources field.
- In-depth understanding of state and federal employment regulations.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance.
- Familiarity with personnel and compliance records management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field; graduate degree preferred.
- 7+ years of leadership experience in HR, Safety, and Training.
- Professional certifications are helpful.
