HR Coordinator

Purpose of role: The HR Coordinator is responsible for the administration of key HR functions and programs. The HR Coordinator works closely with the HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and HR Shared Services to support the full employee lifecycle as well as the administration of policies and procedures.

Main Tasks and Responsibities:

 

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Create new hire documentation including offer letters, restrictive covenants, ancillary agreements, etc.
  • Send new hire welcome emails
  • Schedule and facilitate HR Onboarding for new hires
  • Coordinate completion of induction check list, job descriptions and photos/profiles in Sonnet
  • Collect new hire paperwork and digitally file in ADP
  • Complete background check process

 

Program Administration

  • Process and manage the reward and recognition including PTO, spot bonuses and incentive programs
  • Process and monitor the tuition reimbursement program
  • Answers all Car Program  related inquiries,  approves invoices and ensures reimbursements and deductions are processed timely and correctly
  • Assist in the roll out for benefits annual enrollment, development and performance objectives and annual compensation processes 
  • Answer questions and provide data for annual engagement survey

 

 

Data & Reporting

  • People data management (hires/terms) Sonnet, LMS and ADP
  • Maintain and support system level set up including security, access control systems and access level badges for employees
  • Run reports for all data requests from HRBPs and internal customers to support ad hoc requests, compliance, audits, reporting requirements, benefits filings, etc.
  • Develop and run reports to on personnel and HR metrics through Success Factors and other applications 
  • Monitor completion of required trainings in LMS

 

General Administration

  • Respond to employee inquiries on general questions, payroll and benefits and escalate to shared service or HRBP as needed
  • Order supplies for employees, badges, name plates if applicable
  • Manage HR Pcard expense process
  • Process invoices, corporate card and business card orders
  • Assist finance in the cross charge reconciliation process
  • Send HR Mailbox communications
  • Manage HR Team calendar, assist with HR Team meeting set-up
  • Comply with all local, state, federal laws and Company rules and/or regulations
  • All other duties as assigned

 

Education and Skillset:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous experience working in a corporate HR department highly preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and outstanding attention to detail
  • Strong time management and prioritization capabilities maintaining multiple tasks effectively
  • High sense of urgency
  • High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to work with employees at all levels, comfortable pushing back when appropriate
  • Ability to influence
  • Customer service skills
  • Intermediate computer experience including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Success Factors and ADP experience preferred
  • Microsoft Visio experience a bonus
  • Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
