Reports To: Chief People Officer
Summary of Position:
Responsible for various HR functions supporting employees. Ideal for early-career HR professionals seeking growth in a rapidly expanding company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Onboarding, Benefits Administration & HRIS:
- Coordinate new hire onboarding in HRIS system.
- Ensure timely completion of I-9 forms and E-Verify.
- Maintain HRIS system, handle manager and employee changes.
- Communicate with employees regarding questions.
- Run reports on request.
Benefits and Retirement Plan Administration:
- Prompt enrollment reminders through HRIS.
- Approve benefits in HRIS, troubleshoot issues.
- Review monthly benefits invoices for accuracy.
- Coordinate annual open enrollment.
- Handle COBRA administration and ACA compliance.
Retirement Plan Administration:
- Answer employee questions, coordinate education meetings.
- Assist in coordinating actions in the retirement plan system.
Employee Development and Training Support:
- Assist with scheduling and coordination of new hire onboarding classes.
- Maintain Learning Management System (LMS).
Talent Acquisition:
- Assist with recruiting tasks, job descriptions, and postings.
Performance Management & Recognition Programs:
- Act as a resource for employees on policies, compensation, and benefits.
- Administer performance management system.
- Participate in award and recognition programs.
Other Responsibilities:
- Maintain personnel files for compliance.
- Keep stakeholders informed of pertinent information.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or similar field.
- Minimum 2 years' HR experience in a coordinator, assistant, specialist, or generalist role.
- HRIS experience required; ATS experience a plus.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and urgency.
- Integrity, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Paycom experience.
- LMS experience.
- SHRM CP or PHR designation preferred.
Role Details:
- Hybrid role: 3 days/week in office, 2 days/week remote (flexible).
