Looking to join a fun and outgoing team?! Here at Carlo's Bakery, we are looking for a bilingual HR coordinator to assist our HR team with day-to-day administrative, recruiting, and generalist tasks. This is an opportunity for an individual who has strong organizational skills, administrative experience, Microsoft Office knowledge, and a drive to pursue a career in Human Resources!
Performance Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day to day operations of the HR Department.
- Work closely with both the generalist and recruiter.
- Provide operations support on issues such as talent and performance management and employment law.
- Assist with the recruiting and onboarding/offboarding process.
- Assist Store Managers with job openings by posting and pre-screening candidates.
- Assist with posting jobs, screening candidates and scheduling interviews.
- Provide timely assistance to employees regarding benefits and Human Resource related questions.
- Maintains and processes all Unemployment Notices of Entitlement and potential charges in a timely, efficient manner.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; Periodically audits Forms I-9
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of HR experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, follow-up, problem solving and creative thinking skills.
- Experience with Paychex Flex and Indeed are preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
- Proficient with MS Word & Excel.
- Prior retail/restaurant/food industry recruitment experience preferred.
- Self-motivated, team player with excellent people skills.
- Passion and excitement for Recruitment.
- High level of discretion with confidential material.
- Spanish speaking is a must!
