Staff Management Group is seeking for a Human Resource Coordinator for our client in Hillside, NJ. The Human Resources Coordinator will support the Human Resources and Production team. This position will perform various office and administrative tasks relevant to Human Resources or other departments, as needed.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities To include but not limited to)
•Carry out and coordinate advertising, recruitment, interview, and selection procedures; develop job announcements and interview materials; review background checks; respond to applicant calls.
•Conducts the employee orientation, assists with training translations and scheduling recordkeeping.
•Interacts with staff to define, prioritize, and assist with executing multiple tasks and activities required to meet deadlines.
•Maintains and creates administrative and personnel files or recordkeeping systems, including sorting, labeling, filing, and retrieving documents or other materials.
• Provide clerical/administrative support to the HR Manager; duties include but are not limited to emailing, scanning, faxing, mailing, filing, and photocopying.
•May maintain calendars and schedules and coordinate appointments as needed.
•Writes or drafts correspondence via emails, reports, documents, and other written materials. •Reviews incoming correspondence: initiates reply as appropriate; routes matters requiring action by staff or others and follows up to ensure actions are completed.
•Assist with employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health.
SCHEDULE 10AM TO 6:30PM
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements listed represent the minimum knowledge, skill, and ability required. A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience is accepted instead of a degree. Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential for effective communication. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook Knowledge base of various employment laws and practices. Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. The job is performed in both a standard office and a manufacturing plant environment.
