Hr Coordinator

The HR Coordinatorwill work directly with the HR and Payroll Team and is responsible for the day to day implementation of the following:

Responsibilities:

• Processing of new employee pre hire applications, including running criminal background checks, and scheduling applicants for drug screens.
• Provide hiring manager the applicants clearance to start work and follow up with hiring manager for final hiring paperwork.
• Review employee's final paperwork to ensure all documents are included.
• Issue employee ID number; enter employee into payroll system prior to payroll processing.
• Review I9 forms, work authorization documents, and ensure proper completion.
• Create employee file on server and file paperwork accordingly.
• Calculate employee vacation and sick time accruals when requested by employees manager.

Required Skills:

• Attention to detail, accuracy and excellent organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast moving environment.
• Must be a self starter and be able to work independently making decisions.
• Experience with ADP and/or Paychex a plus.
• This position is in person, in an office environment, not hybrid or remote.
• BiLingual English /Spanish speaking a plus.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
