The HR Coordinatorwill work directly with the HR and Payroll Team and is responsible for the day to day implementation of the following:
Responsibilities:
- Processing of new employee pre hire applications, including running criminal background checks, and scheduling applicants for drug screens.
- Provide hiring manager the applicants clearance to start work and follow up with hiring manager for final hiring paperwork.
- Review employee's final paperwork to ensure all documents are included.
- Issue employee ID number; enter employee into payroll system prior to payroll processing.
- Review I9 forms, work authorization documents, and ensure proper completion.
- Create employee file on server and file paperwork accordingly.
- Calculate employee vacation and sick time accruals when requested by employees manager.
Required Skills:
- Attention to detail, accuracy and excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast moving environment.
- Must be a self starter and be able to work independently making decisions.
- Experience with ADP and/or Paychex a plus.
- This position is in person, in an office environment, not hybrid or remote.
- BiLingual English /Spanish speaking a plus.
