The Opportunity
Vital, newly-created position: support 3 small business units within a division of a Fortune manufacturing company that is relocating multiple facilities and opening a new innovation center
Individual contributor role, first point of contact for all HR needs on-the-ground while leveraging corporate resources
Report directly to the President of the Division and collaborate directly with executive leaders across each business. Highly visible position!

What You'llDo
Initial priority is to support incoming employees at the new Center of Excellence, working closely with BU leaders and corporate resources to ensure smooth relocation and onboarding in the new location
Provide generalist HR support for all three businesses as needed
Serve as an HR consultant to BU leaders, offering expertise on HR best practices.
Contribute to the development and execution of corporate HR strategies
Participate in business planning sessions to integrate HR considerations into divisional strategies.
The Profile
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is required
PHR/SPHR certification helpful
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Human Resources as Business Partner, including experience in a manufacturing company
Experience with facility closures and relocations is strongly preferred
Experience as a consultant or in a role supporting multiple different businesses at one time is a strong plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
A “do what it takes” willingness and ability to function both strategically and at the granular level as needed
Comfortable as individual contributor within a matrix environment
Highly self-motivated with proven ability to prioritize and execute: you take initiative to identify and follow through on important projects and initiatives
You're knowledgeable of Federal and State Employment Law; you can read and interpret laws and regulations
Willing to live/relocate to the Greensboro, NC area: this is NOT a remote job
