About the Role:
The HR Business Partner I serves as a strategic partner for business groups within the Bank in support of organizational strategies to achieve business plans and objectives. Operates as collaborative partner that builds and leverages cross-functional relationships to bring together information, ideas, and industry analysis to develop best practices. Key areas of focus include: Talent Management, Strategic Staffing and Recruiting, Employee Engagement, Organizational Development, Compensation Strategy, and serving as a consultant Partner In the execution of People and Culture programs.
You Will:
- Work directly with senior leadership of business line(s), or in collaboration with more senior HR Business Partners, to build and implement people strategies and plans that promote success of overall business line(s) and Bank.
- Support the building of managerial and organizational capability (e.g. leadership, culture and systems) to foster a high performing organization that achieves the Bank's priorities through the deployment of tailored solutions to address business line needs.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partner team and other People and Culture (P&C) groups such as Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to support the development and delivery of P&C solutions to create successful business line strategy.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the business line and labor/external market and its relationship to organizational success.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 3 years of Human Resources experience or equivalent relevant experience.
- Foundational understanding of employee relations preferred.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) Certification preferred.
- Demonstrated consultation and facilitation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing at various levels of the organization.
- Ability to form compelling arguments to influence others and gain support and commitment.
- Ability to problem solve and apply analytical thinking skills.
- Experience collaborating on teams for small to medium-sized projects and initiatives with defined objectives, deliverables, and timelines.

This role allows for the employee to work in a hybrid manner with some work conducted onsite at the Federal Reserve work location and some work conducted remotely. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
