Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced HR Professional to engage, influence and provide successful multi-domain (HRBP, TA, Compensation, Benefits, Learning etc.) HR expertise in support of the C5ISR Group within Mission Technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to create, implement and drive creative and unique Human Resources Solutions by partnering with key stakeholders throughout HR and leaders in a Human Resources Business Partner role.

Candidate must have the ability to travel up to 15% to include travel to the Fair Lakes, VA Office location. Preference is for candidate who is local to District of Columbia and Northern Virginia area. Flexible Work Schedule is available; however, candidate is required to attend meetings in person as necessary.

The individual we are interested in joining our team has a record of accomplishment in the Human Resources field as an HR Business Partner at the Mid HRBP level and has translatable experience that he/she can articulate to demonstrate the following experience:

  • Possesses a consultative engagement mindset and effectively engages with all levels of leadership, HR Business Partners, HR Managers, Talent Acquisition Recruiters or Managers, Compensation, Benefits and Security to identify priorities and deliverables,
  • Experience with employee relations matters to include conducting and overseeing investigations and writing reports,
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience handling multiple tasks in a team-based, fast paced, high demand environment and possess excellent communication, organization and time management skills.
  • Understands and effectively responds to the complexity of solutions with a dispersed workforce.
  • Assists HR Manager as needed when partnering with internal functional operations (i.e. Talent Acquisition, Business Development, etc) in support of new bids and re-compete bids to ensure development of hiring strategy, and identifying any legal concerns in support of the WARN Act.
  • Provide strong, credible professional experience as a Human Resources Business Partner to Group's business operations
  • Serve as a liaison for most of the following areas: new employee onboarding, HRIS reporting, benefits, and/or EEO data collection and reporting.
  • Work with other members of HC staff to ensure EEO/AA/OFCCP compliance and the provision of all HC services.
  • Assist in policy interpretation and process implementation on general routine benefit, payroll and other HC actions
  • Facilitate New Hire Onboarding and other training deliverables as needed.


What you must have:
• 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
• Experience as a mid or senior level Human Resources Business Partner.
• Previous experience with a Human Resource Information System.

Preferred: Bonus Points For...
• Having experience with SAP SuccessFactors is a plus
• Must have experience interacting with multiple HR functional operations such as Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, and Security
• Ability to demonstrate effective influencing skills
• Ability to demonstrate superb communication skills
• Must be responsive, learn quickly and handle high volume activity
• Must be able to toggle transactional HR actions and strategic HR actions
