Job Description
The Schnellecke Group is an internationally operating family-owned company that offers a variety of logistics services. One of the major focuses of these activities is value-added logistics for the automotive industry.
We develop complete concepts that range from transport and warehousing to pre-assemblies and value-added services, to sequential production of individual parts and modules, and packaging suitable for containers. Furthermore, we produce individual car body parts and car body modules for vehicle manufacturing under the KWD Automotive umbrella brand.
Overview
This assignment will be responsible for, but not limited to, functions pertaining to the overall coordination of HR activities, implementation of HR policies and procedures, and development of trainings to support the growth of Schnellecke Logistics in the US.
Common Functions
- Execute the values, philosophy, mission, strategy, policies, and standards of the organization, to achieve the vision of Schnellecke Logistics
- Apply central procedures to the area of responsibility, to ensure the use of best practices in Schnellecke Logistics
- Implement continuous improvement processes within HR, in order to create more solid and efficient processes
- Ensure that all employees are following safety principles and that all accidents and incidents are reported immediately.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage, lead and control the HR team to accomplish the targets of the department
- Guarantee that all areas of the company are proceeding according to valid labor laws
- Accompany and follow-up on all labor claims
- Supervise that all records regarding the structure and content of employee files-personal data, compensation, benefits, payroll, tax data, attendance records, performance reviews and evaluations, personnel documentation, and termination data with supporting documentation are maintained
- Provide current reports to management pertaining to organizational structures
- Communicate actively with Central HR (Group) and other business units to standardize processes and policies
- Promote internal communication through different ways
- Assure that all tools from Schnellecke Toolbox are being applied and improved continuously
- Control roster, absenteeism policy, staffing agencies, and dismissals
- Compile data from managers and prepare various reports
- Follow all safety and environmental procedures
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping to ensure an orderly workstation/place
- Promote and practice safe work procedures and follows all safety rules at all times
- Promote continuous improvement of HR processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Labor relations experience
- Automotive experience
- Payroll and attendance system experience
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
