Facility Maintenance Company is looking for The HR Business Manager. You will play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, enhancing organizational performance through effective HR interventions, and overseeing various aspects of personnel management, employee relations, and organizational development. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and involves collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure HR practices contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Strategy:
Works with Leadership Group to understand the organization’s goals and align HR strategies with business objectives.
Develop and implement HR strategies that support and align with the business strategy, streamline workflows and enhance overall HR service delivery.
Compensation and Benefits Administration:
Oversees weekly labor payroll, timekeeping platform.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze weekly labor and payroll metrics to provide insights for decision-making.
Prepare regular reports for management on labor budgets and key performance indicators.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Recruitment:
Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs.
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
Participate in the selection process.
Oversee the onboarding process.
Performance Management:
Plan & direct performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and talent development.
Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Workforce Training & Development:
Identify training needs and collaborate with specialists to design and deliver relevant training programs.
Support employee development initiatives to enhance skills and capabilities.
Employee Relations:
Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations. Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements, working with legal counsel as necessary.
Employee Engagement & Culture:
Promotes positive employee relations through design, communication, and interpretation of human resources policies and programs.
Compliance:
Monitors regulations and organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Regularly update and communicate HR policies and procedures, providing training as needed.
Change Management:
Assist in managing organizational change initiatives.
Provide support during mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring processes.
Process Improvement:
Continuously review and enhance HR activities.
Implement best practices to streamline HR department.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
At least 3 years of progressive experience in HR roles.
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
