Overview
The Job in a Nutshell:
This is a key individual contributor role in the HR Department which works closely with the HRIS team and VP of HR to provide data to guide and support HR key performance indicators and initiatives. This position utilizes their HR knowledge / insight to manage compliancy requirements, communicate and educate Crew on legal requirements and supports the compensation / job analysis process.
Responsibilities
Main Ingredients:
Reporting / Analysis
- Utilize the reporting function in Dayforce and iCIMS platforms to create reports and analyze data used to track trends, measure success and drive HR related business decisions
- Provide reporting and analysis for key HR initiatives such as wage guidelines and federal, state, and county employment law
- Provide routine and ad-hoc reporting to track and evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of processes in driving organizational priorities
Compliance / Audits
- Research and track the updates to federal, state, and local HR laws / regulations and inform and HR Crew of the updates
- Exercise strong analysis, decision-making, communication skills to effectively research, interpret and communicate HR compliance requirements as well as propose systematic ways to effectively manage requirements.
- OR Predictive Scheduling - Monitor and audit reports to ensure compliance and processes data for required payment.
- Collaborate with Operations for training and to ensure compliance
- Manages upcoming I-9 document expirations and reverifications
- Create and schedule compliancy reports to support HR and Operation needs and execute HR related audits and identify opportunities and proposed actions
- Apply updates to employee handbook as necessary
Compensation
- Research, collect and analyze internal and external compensation data.
- Perform market benchmarking and prepare salary analysis to determine hiring salary ranges for new and updated positions and ensures job placement in the salary structure is consistent and equitable based on organizational salary structure / levels.
- Conduct periodic review and analysis of state minimum wage schedules, competitor wages and cost of living differentials in markets where stores are located
- Create timely communications to Store Managers and Crew on pay changes and partner with HR team to ensure change is implemented in their relevant areas
- Interface with Executive Vice President to review and finalize company-wide pay changes before implementation
- Manage wage guidelines update
- Manage job description review and approval process
- Interface with all levels of SSC management on job analysis process
- Participate in audits and reporting of compensation programs to ensure compliance with company policies, government regulations and best practices. Provides support to HR on compensation-related activities and projects
- Deliver compensation training to managers

Qualifications
Recipe for Success:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in HR / related field or equivalent experience is required
- Minimum 2 years of general human resource experience required
- Minimum 1 year HR analytics experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Compensation experience preferred
- Ceridian's Dayforce and iCIMS experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with I-9 and E-Verify processes and requirements
- Experience with HR audit and compliance is desired
- Strong analytical ability to look at data, draw conclusions and partner with others to develop SMART action plans.
- Must be able to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
- Detail oriented; must be able to dig in and communicate the details of the business
- Must have strong problem-solving and analysis abilities in order to make sound decisions
- High level communicator who is can effectively work with all levels of management
- Team player with stellar work ethic
- Strong understanding of HR processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application
- Intermediate skill in Excel is required
- Intermediate skill in Word is required
