Job Description
CVHCare, a leader in Home Health Clinical Services headquartered in beautiful San Ramon, CA, is currently seeking a HR Assistant to join our office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain Human Resources records & credentials such as professional licensure, auto insurance, etc. and ensure they are regularly up to date. File paperwork appropriate to HR standards.
- Enter data into various spreadsheets and systems.
- Communicate with staff via email, messaging, phone.
- Communicate and coordinate time-sensitive requests with vendors
- Prepare and update new hire packets.
- Send communications to all new hires, including welcome notices
- May help with New Employee Orientation.
- Responsible for tracking, notifying, and following up with Managers when evaluations are due
- May complete employment verifications, help with other paperwork.
- Supports onboarding of new hires, background checks, references, credentialing, pre-employment physicals, etc.
- Manage sensitive information and confidential matters.
- Other related administration work and duties.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is a plus, but not required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of Google Suite of applications (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Meet, Chat etc), MS Office (solid knowledge of Excel).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Dedicated to data entry mastery.
- Quality phone skills.
- Quality communication skills: oral, written, face to face.
- Ensure all inquiries are addressed, whether owned by you or handed off to another team member.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality at all times.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently with minimum direction and can also ask for help when needed
- Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets
- Able to support field-based clinical personnel.
Physical Requirements:
- High levels of mental concentration are required whilst handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to bend, crouch and life 10-50lbs
- Ability to respond to sounds and hear in working environments
- Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
- Read, write, speak, comprehend the English Language
