Responsibility
- Lead/manage RWE studies (e.g., chart review, meta-analysis and observational studies) in collaboration with pharmaceutical industry and academic partner, including:
- Conduct targeted literature review and summarize evidence findings
- Design retrospective observational studies, particularly on chart review studies
- Prepare, submit, and defend regulatory, IRB, and compliance documents
- Develop full study protocols and statistical analysis plans (SAPs)
- Lead project team to conduct statistical analysis
- Create study reports and peer reviewed publications, provide a deep scientific summary and interpretation of all results observed in the study
- Build strong client partnerships that drive business growth, contribute to the creation of winning proposals and responses to Request for Proposals
- Participate in pitches and client presentations
Required expertise and experience:
- MPH, MSc or PhD (or an equivalent degree) in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health or a related discipline
- Post-graduate work experience (5+ years with MPH or MSc, 3+ years with PhD) in real-world evidence (consulting)
- Substantial experience in leading RWE projects (e.g., chart review, meta-analysis and observational studies), including all steps from conceptualization to reporting
- Experience in analyzing individual patient data, such as clinical trial data and real-world data (Claims, EHR, Registry, etc.)
- Experience in developing manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals
