Our Human Resources team is currently GROWING, and we are seeking a part-time Human Resources Assistant to join our team. This position would qualify as a paid internship opportunity as well for interested academic candidates.
The Human Resources Assistant/Intern will support the HR team with a variety of duties related to supporting the employee experience in the areas of onboarding, recruitment, and culture and engagement. The Human Resources Assistant position is a part-time, hourly role, working Monday - Friday with office hours between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. This position would work between 20 and 25 hours per week with lots of scheduling flexibility.
JOB DUTIES:
- Support the Talent Acquisition team in the recruitment of new team members by screening candidates and/or completing phone interviews
- Assist in the onboarding process for new Chileda team members by successfully completing reference checks for all new hires
- Develop and create social media assets to promote recruitment and employer branding
- Attend job fairs and community events on an as-needed basis
- Actively participate in employee engagement and retention initiatives such as staff appreciation events, Chileda community events, and other activities where HR representation is needed
- Upload all new hire documents into the Chileda HRIS system
- Initiate and process all approved driver background checks
- Assist with other projects or tasks in support of the HR-team objectives as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Specialist and Director of Human Resources
