Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our Lafayette team.

Essential Functions:
- Employee onboarding.
- Data entry and maintenance of employee records and files.
- Timely and accurate completion of regulatory reporting.
- Administration of benefit programs, including benefits enrollment, QE changes, separations, and COBRA enrollment.
- Manages pre-employment drug screening and background program.
- Coordinates with payroll accurate wage reporting and deductions.
- Coordinates orientation and I9 verification with office administrators.
- Maintains document filing, internal posting, and directories.
- Maintains primary source verification of licensure.
- Assists with policy development and implementation.
- Responds to HR inquiries.
- Demonstrates a self-directed approach to completing work duties; routinely completes all work assignments while maintaining quality and confidentiality; treats all customers with courtesy and respect.
- Completes additional tasks as assigned; assists corporate managers as needed and as available.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Human Resources or Business Administration
- 2-4 years experience in a professional office.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate.
- Attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
Experience Preferred:
- 1-2 years of HR generalist experience including recruiting, onboarding employee relations, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance
- Understanding of federal and state labor laws and regulations
- Experience with SharePoint
- Experience with HRIS
