Our welcoming and distinctive Private Club provides a premier championship golf course, year-round recreation, and artistic culinary and social activities for Members, their families and guests.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, we’re building our HR program and seeking an HR & Recruiting Coordinator to support a broad range of HR related duties. This is the perfect role for someone who is familiar with HR, passionate about the employee experience, and eager to help in crafting a culture of excellence. Duties include support for general People Operations (recruiting, onboarding, offboarding), maintenance of employee records, Worker’s Compensation, Safety Programs, employee relations and inquires, Benefits, and California Compliance. PAHGCC employs 125 staff year-round and adds upwards of 50 additional seasonal employees during the peak season between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding processes.
- Prepare offer letters and employment contracts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and digital.
- Process personnel changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Administrative support in health, dental, and other benefits programs.
- Answer employee questions and address concerns.
- Completes other appropriate work assignments as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in an HR or administrative role preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of ATS and HR systems and software
- Experience with Paycor payroll system a plus
Physical
- Required to sit for long periods
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand and lift up to 20 pounds.
Hours and Compensation
- Compensation: $25.00 per hour
- This is an hourly non-exempt position that is eligible for overtime
- Sick Time and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
- Meals provided 6 days per week
- Our premier championship golf course is open for staff to enjoy on select Mondays
