Formed in 2013 and based in Savannah, GA, we pride ourselves on being a small, tight-knit company with room to add more. Our company is looking for an HR admin in order to accelerate our growth in the industry. Excellent organization and communication skills are important qualifications for this position. Knowledge of the Vape, Delta-8, and CBD industry is strongly preferred but not required.
HR Admin Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Schedule and coordinate meetings with staff and/or outside representatives
- Collate and distribute mail
- Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence
- Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
- Ordering office supplies, equipment, groceries, etc.
- Researching and booking travel arrangements for staff
- Planning and executing employee events; catering, scheduling, set-up, etc.
- Tracking and paying invoices for utility services, insurance, etc.
- Scheduling and maintaining employee review calendar
- Conducting phone screening for potential candidates
- Complete onboarding for new hires
- Maintaining HR reporting for PTO hours, employee roster, etc.
- Fielding phone calls for employment verification and reference checks
- Posting to job boards and fielding applications
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- Decision-making: Admins make independent decisions on a daily basis, addressing the best way to handle specific tasks.
- Communication and Collaboration: Must collaborate with managers in the company and support personnel, as well as vendors and customers.
- Organization: Organization and prioritization are key; this role will require someone who is detail oriented and keeps information in order.
- Writing: Spelling, Punctuation, sentence structure and writing are essential. The ideal candidate must be proficient in a variety of styles.
- Confidentiality: As this role will be integral in HR functions, confidentiality of employee information is a top priority.
- Computer Skills: Experience with Excel and the ability to learn and utilize other software is a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
