House Manager

We are a busy household in search of a proactive and efficient House Manager to join our family. The ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, capable of wearing multiple hats throughout the day. From sitting and tutoring to shopping and managing appointments, your role will be integral to keeping our home running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and perform daily household tasks, including cleaning and laundry, to maintain an orderly and comfortable home environment.
• Act as a sitter, ensuring a safe and nurturing space for children.
• Provide tutoring services to support educational development.
• Manage grocery shopping and run errands to ensure all household supplies and essentials are stocked.
• Coordinate and manage appointments, including scheduling and transportation needs.
• Actively assist in our family-run floral business, requiring both administrative and creative support.
• Maintain and update the household calendar, keeping track of all family commitments and activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in a similar House Manager role, with verifiable references.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Self-starter attitude with the confidence to take initiative in daily tasks.
• Strong ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Good with children, providing a safe and engaging environment for them.
• Proficiency in tutoring, capable of assisting with homework and educational activities.
• A clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
