Home Health Scheduler/Operations Assistant

HomeWell Cares Services is a rapidly growing home care agency. We are looking for a motivated individual to be our Scheduler/Operations Assistant.

The duties of this position include directing/handling phone calls from clients and caregivers with compassion and staffing cases with caregiver skill and client care in mind. The successful candidate will perform various supervisory activities related to scheduling caregivers to clients, timecard processing, and other responsibilities as needed.

The ideal candidate should have clerical and scheduling experience, preferably in home care scheduling. They should also have their own vehicle, have a positive attitude under pressure and be able to effectively multitask in a high functioning office environment. Ultimately, a successful candidate will relieve the overflow of work and assist the overall production of the Operations team, with growth potential into an Operations Manager/Director role.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office, including but not limited to:

· Schedules the daily activities of caregivers, answers telephone, takes inquiries or messages in an upbeat, professional manner

· Handles client and caregiver issues both inside outside of normal business hours

· Communicates continually with associates and clients to evaluate service

· Serves as a team player within an office environment

· Maintains documentation client and caregiver activity in Wellsky/ClearCare

· Responds promptly and courteously to all clients’ calls.

· Serves as liaison between associates and Operations Manager

· Maintains integrity in every interaction with caregivers and clients

· Maintains professionalism in all interactions

· Ability to multitask in a high functioning office environment

· Ability to problem solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to relate to clients and care staff in a way that is sensitive to the unique needs of the individual

· Other duties as assigned by Operations leadership

Qualifications and Skills

· High School graduate or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

· Strong Preference will be given to candidates having demonstrated experience using WellSky / ClearCare

· Preferred 1+ year of scheduling experience, preferably in home care

· Experience with Microsoft Office, sound computer skills, and strong organizational abilities. Excellent interpersonal relations abilities. Excellent telephone skills.

· Knowledge of common medical terminology.

· Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment.

· Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job. Fluency in a second language is a benefit.

· Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with valid insurance

· Must have an active State of Florida Level 2 Background Check or pass one

· Be available as required for on-call duty outside of normal office hours.
