We are currently hiring a Home Care Scheduler to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Home Care Scheduler is to manage scheduling information to ensure comprehensive and consistent patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience working with HHA Exchange, excellent customer service skills, and be highly organized and empathetic.
Responsibilities:
- Assign clients to appropriate caregivers
- Assist in hiring, training, and management of new staff
- Communicate with caregivers regarding schedule updates or changes
- Communicate with managers and clients about schedule or staffing changes
- Coordinate internal and external staffing needs
- Maintain an up-to-date list of on-call and backup staff for last-minute coverage
- Requires alternating on-call nights and weekends with office staff
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and other computer programs
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience as a Home Care Scheduler or in HHA Exchange preferred
