```Duties```
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient scheduling and minimize wait times
- Collect and update patient information in electronic medical records systems
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding appointments, procedures, and general information
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for medical services
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations of the medical office
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in medical office administration is a plus
- Proven experience as a medical receptionist or scheduler preferred
- Proficient in using office software applications, including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
