Home Care Recruiter / Office Assistant

Synergy Home Care is a non-medical independently owned and operated national Home Care agency located in Palm Bay, Florida.
As the company continues to grow, we are looking to hire a Recruiter / Office Assistant position to assist the Office Manager with scheduling and recruiting and maintaining a pool of eligible caregivers, along with promoting engagement and employee retention for the Home Care agency.
The ideal candidate will be self-directed and detail-oriented, well spoken, and at ease when communicating with clients, caregivers, and management. This individual should have flexibility, and be personable, organized, compassionate and big-hearted.

Recruiter / Office Assistant responsibilities include:

• Source and screen candidates
• Assist with hiring process of caregivers: processing applications, background screening, interviewing and references.
• Assist with the on-boarding process of caregivers
• Maintain current employee files and credentials up-to-date
• Assist with daily administrative tasks
• Participate in staff training
• Provide back-up scheduling assistance, coordinate caregiver and maintain client schedules
• Assist with staffing client cases when they become open
• Provide on-call back up support, when transitioning to the field is needed.
  *Must be flexible and comfortable transitioning with minimum notice

The ideal candidate will have:

• H.S Diploma
• Two years of related recruiting or related experience and/or training
• Proficient computer skills
• At least 2 years of Caregiving experience.
  HHA Certified or CNA preferred.
• Knowledge of non-medical Home Care or healthcare industry
• Mature, caring, punctual and reliable
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  
• Have Customer service skills and the ability to communicate with clients and team members both written and verbally
• Able to pass a Level 2 background screening
• CPR certified
