ROLE OF THE HOME CARE RECRUITMENTS/SCHEDULING COORDINATOR
The Recruitment Scheduling Coordinator is the liaison for the Home Care services division. They work collaboratively to ensure that each client receives quality care in adherence to the care plan in a timely manner. The Recruitment Scheduling Coordinator will strategically offer DSP's cases based on client needs. They will monitor training compliance and documentation requirements in accordance with AHCA, CMS and payer standards. The Recruitment Scheduling Coordinator will conduct frequent quality calls to ensure client satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Recruiting
  • Recruit Direct Support Professionals to work in a 1099 contract capacity with CRN and clients served.
  • Source and post job requisitions to generate interest for appropriate candidate selection.
  • Maintain a recruiting program to keep active pipeline of DSP contractor candidates.
  • Communicate governmental requirements to potential DSP's considering a contract agreement with CRN.
  • Process applications in the CRN applicant tracking system daily.
  • Review applications for qualifications and eligibility to work as a DSP under agency licensure.
  • Screen DSP candidates according to agency requirements adhering to all state and federal laws.
  • Extend contract offers to DSP that meet all criteria required by the agency, AHCA, CMS and the payer organization.
  • Attend community events, job fairs, local meeting locations to generate interest and attract potential DSPs to work in contract agreement with CRN and clients served.
  • Run background checks in accordance with requirements of AHCA, CMS, and licensure requirements.

  1. Scheduling and Fulfillment
  • Verify each DSP has completed and valid trainings
  • Verify certifications as required under the agency licensure
  • Maintain compliance of all DSP trainings and documents utilizing the human resources tracking system.
  • Communicate expiring training and credentials to each DSP and ensure timely completion of the required training.
  • Determine schedule needed for clients.
  • Identify DSP for client based upon plan of care.
  • Provide consultation and information to DSP to ensure quality of care.
  • Communicate and train DSP contractors on the EVV or other documentation systems used to document services provided to clients.
  • Ensure DSP understands frequency and authorization of services.
  • Work as liaison between appropriate departments, DSP, and client to ensure accurate billing and payments.

3. Customer Service & Client Relations
  • Build relationships with clients and/or client representatives.
  • On going communication with client and/or client representatives which may include family members, assigned Power of Attorney/spokesperson/legal representative/guardian.
  • Conduct review of services with clients, ensuring quality and satisfaction.
  • Conduct home visits and safety checks as needed.
  • Monitor changes in client's plan of care, their condition or other health considerations.
  • Strategically coordinate and assist with scheduling DSP based on availability and client's needs.
  • Handle client's concerns or questions regarding delivery of services.
  • Assist DSP and client in problem solving for optimum outcomes.

  1. Administration
  • Review the agreed upon plan of care for each client and fully understand the needs of each client.
  • Ensure adherence of the plan of care through communication with DSP, client and/or client representatives.
  • Review service documentation and maintain compliance with requirements of AHCA, CMS, and each payer organization.
  • Maintain accurate records for clients served, DSPs and other documents required.
  • Monitor service authorizations through communication with the agency manager.
  • Retrieve and record notes regarding client's concerns, medical updates, or other changes to their care needs.
  • Communicate updates to DSPs on processes for working in a contract capacity with CRN.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all communication; specifically protecting PHI of Individuals receiving services.
  • Maintain Home Care compliance roster for AHCA.
  • Ensure proper documentation protocol to mitigate fraudulent activity.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.

OTHER DUTIES
  • Attend meetings and communicate frequently with the management team.
  • Attend networking events and training as required.
  • Other projects and activities as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
•No supervisory responsibility.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Primary activities are conducted within a well-lit, climate-controlled office.
  • Frequent trips into the community require outdoor travel and potential exposure to unpleasant weather and hazardous road conditions.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time and possess the normal range of motion.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Degree in Business, Nursing, social services or other related field of study preferred.
  • 1 year in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a health care setting.
  • 1- year direct customer service, via telephone or face-to-face in a business or office setting.
  • 1 year in a recruiting/staffing role with hiring responsibility.
  • Prior experience delivering services to elderly Individuals, or Individuals with disabilities.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Must pass Level II Background screening.
  • Must pass a drug screening.
  • Bi-lingual preferred, English and Spanish
  • KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Must understand general business, office terminology and possess intermediate computer skills.
  • Must have thorough understanding of the MS Office Suite products/programs.
  • "Company Knowledge" Understand and articulate the services provided and the customer value for the CRN brand.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to compose routine correspondence and reports.
  • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast paced, time sensitive business.
