High End Luxury Event - Armed / Odo (April - May)

Global Threat Solutions is seeking highly qualified Armed Security Agents and Armed Off Duty Officers to support a Luxury Event in Upper East Side, NY for two different events. One event is two weeks long and another event is one month long. The attire will be an all-black suit, all white pressed collared shirt or an all black collared shirt depending which event you work, and all-black tie (no patterns), and all black dress shoes (you must own your own suit as it is not provided). Agents will be responsible for observing and reporting all suspicious activity, preventing theft at assigned site (no hands on), liaison with client representatives and law enforcement as needed and protecting assets and personnel at sites. SOP will be provided.

If selected GTS will provide training that may include:

• Active Shooter Response
• De-escalation Training
• Luxury Brand Retail Training
• Taser and /or Handcuff training (Varies by client and location)

Successful candidates must meet the following standards to be selected for this positions:

• Maintain a professional appearance that serves as a strong deterrent to potential offenders.
• Maintain a high level of physical fitness.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of security experience.
• Be able to work 8 or 12 hour shifts while standing and patrolling assigned area.
• Possess excellent communication and observation skills.
• Be able to lift 75 lbs.

Things to know:

• We pay on a bi-weekly basis.
• Security experience is required.
• GTS will provide on-site training for all team members.
• Applicants must provide a headshot, and bio upon being hired.

Qualifications:

• Must be personable and reliable.
• Great Customer Service skills
• Valid Security License
• Valid Armed License
• Valid Driver's License
• Law enforcement and Military background preferred, but not required.

Experience:

• Proven work experience as a Security Officer or relevant position
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent
