Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone comfortable working with a team of motivated individuals, in a remote position, and preferably local to the OKC metro area. As our Helpdesk Technician II, you would assist users to resolve problems with hardware or software applications diagnose and determine level of severity and take independent action to resolve problems. This position will test, troubleshoot and perform limited network maintenance to ensure existing network systems operate correctly with minimal interruption.
On a Typical Day, You'll
- Provide front line telephone, email, and walk-up support for users.
- Ensure that processes are done in a timely manner.
- Maintain documentation for CMR IT Help Desk procedures and processes.
- Assist with network system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Administrative support of core business applications.
- Communicate regularly with technical, applications, and operational staff to keep current with processes.
- Deliver and maintain the highest level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Assist supervisor and team members as requested.
- Evening or weekend working hours may be required at times, as well as participation in on-call rotation.
- Perform additional related tasks and projects as required and assigned
Tiered Support Bonus System
The following bonus structure is based on total fees generated across CMR during the month. Bonuses are paid per pay period on the paycheck following the period in which it is earned. This is additional money earned for doing your job!
- Level 1 = $90
- Level 2 = $130
- Level 3 = $175
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Ability to answer phone calls and email from users, and to communicate clearly verbally and in written forms.
- Intermediate knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
- Intermediate knowledge supporting Intel based hardware.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with network system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Ability to learn and retain new skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good quantitative and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Adapts to changes in the work environment and manages competing priorities/deadlines
- Thorough and detail orientated
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Education and Experience
- 2 - 4-years experience in helpdesk role
- Certifications in A+, ITIL, MCSA or HDI-CSR preferred
- Associates Degree in a related field preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
