Job description

We are looking for individuals who truly enjoy helping customers, are problem-solvers, and love working in a team. If you have experience in troubleshooting Point of Sale software, hardware add-ons, and love to help customers, Blogic Systems might be looking for you!

We work with some of the best restaurants in the country and are currently looking for happy and fun individuals who have meaningful experience, specifically using theBlogic Systems POS platform in a restaurant setting: as supervisors or Managers. In order to function successfully in this role, you will need to possess the ability to understand basic computer technology, restaurant operations, as well as front and back-of-house terminology. You will install, train, and support our POS customers in the field and remotely.

Some basic qualifications and expectations are:

1- Valid License, vehicle insurance, and registration, along with reliable transportation on a daily basis.

2- Willingness to keep a flexible schedule. We work with restaurants, and their schedules are not 9 to 5 pm.

3- Helpful and friendly attitude with the ability to adjust on the fly.

4- Spanish speaking is highly desirable.

Shift & Schedule:

Short Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide hardware support and troubleshooting including, but not limited to: Laptops, Desktops, Printers, Servers
  • Provide software support and troubleshooting for office and point-of-sale systems
  • Open and track support tickets when needed
  • Provide technical support and resolutions on Hardware and Software related issue through phone or email
  • Capture and document all aspects of the customer interaction into CRM database
  • Ensure customers queries are responded to quickly, with the aim of resolving each issue with one-call resolution
  • Provide courteous and professional service
  • Provide technical assistance for customers who encounter difficulties while attempting to install, set up, or use company products
  • Analyze and identify source of problems through troubleshooting with the client and advise resolutions
  • Learn through hands-on product testing
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and highlight trends in customer inquiries
  • Report and escalate any potential product issue thoroughly and comprehensibly to product management and development teams for future improvements
  • Ensure electronic records are created and updated for all communications and escalations.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
  • A strong general aptitude for technical processes.
  • 1-2 years industry experience in support or technical related role preferred.
  • Full Remote Position, Occasional On-Site Visits

  • Understand computer systems, mobile devices, printers, and other tech products well.
  • Must be able to communicate with non-technical users and write user-friendly instructions.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Have strong time management skills.
  • Are customer-oriented and cool-tempered.
  • Are willing to work early morning, late evening, or weekend shifts as required.
