Job Description
MTG is currently looking to add technical staff to our helpdesk. You must be a customer service oriented IT Professional with a good understanding of Windows server and desktop operating systems and related hardware in a corporate IT environment and provide technical support to users in an efficient and accurate manner. You will be responsible to triage and manage the support calls and installation tasks. A key quality to success in this position is to have a "can do" attitude while taking ownership and seeing problems to resolution.
Responsibilities will include:
- Diagnose and resolve computer related issues for business customers using Windows and other enterprise related software and operating systems.
- Support our managed services offerings such as Hosted Exchange, VoIP, Network Monitoring and Backup Administration.
- Bring problems to quick and stable resolution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Operating System, MS Office, Printer, Mobile, Backup, Connectivity and other common IT issues that may arise.
- Coordinate hardware break-fix process.
- Maintain strict security standards and detailed logs of events.
- Provide status reports to Manager with duties achieved over specific timeframes.
- Escalate and remediate customer reported issues.
- Identify and escalate system issues based on automated reporting and monitoring.
- Regularly create and update technical documentation and SOPs based on MTG's technical documentation standards.
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Information Technology and or MIS (Management Information Systems).
- CompTIA A+ (CompTIA Net+ and other CompTIA certifications a plus)
- Proven experience working with Microsoft and PC hardware (Mac OS experience a plus).
- Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Two or more years of employed desktop support experience and administrative support of IT Systems.
- Must have effective written/verbal communication skills and effective internal/external customer relations skills.
- Have a "can do" attitude with a "take ownership" approach.
Technical
- CompTIA A+ Certification (CompTIA Net+, Sec+ and other CompTIA certs a plus).
- Microsoft Certified Professional or equivalent certification.
- Installation, configuration and maintaining systems on a business network.
- Apple Authorized Service Provider certifications or any other networking or systems certifications a plus.(VMWare, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Office Specialist, etc.)
- Windows PC hardware knowledge, basic setup, cabling, and testing.
- Microsoft Suite Experience in the Enterprise environment with Active Directory Domains and Networks. (e.g. Windows, Office, Exchange, SharePoint, Active Directory, Group Policies).
This position will be based out of our Bensalem\Philadelphia, PA corporate location, with minimal travel and work from home opportunities.
