This Help Desk Analyst role is based in the Scranton, Pennsylvania area and is a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues
- Diagnose recurring technical issues and implement solutions to address the root of the problems
- Help and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups
- Deliver IT support for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other applications used internally
- Background in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications
- Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
- Prior experience with IT support ticketing systems
- LAN (local area networks) experience preferred
- Active Directory experience desired
- Experience with Basic Troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- Deep understanding of Windows OS
- Working knowledge of user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment
- Comprehension of basic networking concepts
