HELP DESK TECHNICIAN / IT OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE
JOB SUMMARY: CDS Administrators is seeking an entry level Help Desk Technician / IT Operations Associate who is excited to enter the Information Technology world and begin their career. CDS specializes in benefit administration and prioritizes exceptional customer service. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to learn and create roots. This position requires an aptitude for technology, strong attention to detail, and well-rounded communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates Degree (or higher) in IT OR a computer related discipline or a minimum of 3 years in an IT Help Desk Role OR 5+ years of computer based knowledge
- Excellent working knowledge of Server / Client applications including Microsoft Exchange
- Strong working knowledge of: software, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10, and Windows 11.
- Hardware knowledge proficiency: hard drives, memory, network adapters, printer support, monitors, etc.
- Ability to multi-task and complete projects correctly on time
- Proficiency in core MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
- Driver’s License
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

HELP DESK TECHNICIAN / IT OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Investigate Desktop PC issues submitted through ticketing system; Identify and apply solutions for common computer problems
- Microsoft Access Database troubleshooting including modification and creation of new projects upon request
- Install updates for windows-based server operating systems
- Reset passwords for clients on our online portal system
- Ensure HIPAA regulations are followed. Confirm file transmissions follow encrypted protocols, staff are following guidelines for disclosure of PHI and ePHI, participates in team HIPAA risk assessment and training
- Diagnose various hardware issues and fix any issues identified. This includes monitors, hard drives, network adapters, printers, or any other networked device
- Learn the ANSI 834 Enrollment Implementation Format and work with the various departments to send and receive electronic eligibility files
- Learn SQL to assist with the development of query related projects for specific applications
- Support of all 4 locations
