If yes, we need a dedicated Health and Safety Technician to conduct essential respirator fit testing across various healthcare settings. This role is pivotal in ensuring the health and safety of individuals exposed to airborne pathogens and hazardous materials.
What You Will Do:
Conduct quantitative respirator fit testing in the Hampton Roads, Northern Virginia, and North Carolina areas.
Provide guidance on proper respirator use, including donning and doffing.
Coordinate fit testing schedules and manage onsite logistics to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
Perform equipment maintenance, setup, and calibration.
Deliver clear and concise reports on services provided for invoicing and accountability.
Who You Are:
A high school graduate or higher; some college or military experience preferred.
Experienced in customer service and proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
A problem-solver with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
A reliable individual with a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a vehicle in good working condition.

For technicians assigned to the northern route, compensation includes mileage, daily per diem, and hotel accommodations for overnight stays. We aim to minimize travel distances by scheduling assignments close to your home and rotating northern route assignments among all technicians to reduce monthly travel frequency.
