Darwin Homes is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Head of Product to lead our efforts in revolutionizing property management in the Single Family Rental (SFR) sector. In this role, you'll be pivotal in crafting groundbreaking products that simplify and enhance the management of single-family rentals and the resident experience at scale. This high-impact position requires a unique blend of strategic foresight, meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of real estate and property management processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven capacity for navigating the complexities of complex operational businesses, a relentless focus on details, and a strong aptitude for data analysis, all while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

What You'll Do

• Spearhead the development and execution of a detailed and data-driven product strategy, aligning with Darwin Homes' overarching goals and customer needs.
• Lead and inspire a diverse team of Product managers, instilling a culture of precision and analytical rigor in product development and enhancement.
• Delve deeply into operational processes of property management, identifying opportunities for product-driven efficiencies and enhancements through data analysis and user discovery.
• Maintain an unwavering focus on the minutiae and the broader picture, ensuring every aspect of the product experience meets the highest standards for our institutional investor clients, vendors, and residents.
• Hire and develop a team of high-performing Product Managers.

Requirements

• 10+ years developing history of developing user-centric product experiences, with a special focus on understanding and streamlining complex operational systems and workflows.
• 5+ years successfully managing a team of 5-10 impact-driven, experienced product managers, preferably in an operationally intensive business.
• 5+ expertise in utilizing data and analytics to drive product development and refine operational workflows in property management.
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional teams with a commitment to precision and excellence in product development, fostering a data-centric and detail-oriented culture in a real estate context.
• Bachelors degree
• Prior experience as a Product Manager with Real Estate Property Technology and Real Estate Operations.

• Business Unit Products
• Occupied Products - Focuses on all aspects of the occupied phase for a rental home (Repairs and Maintenance, Collections, Resident Portal, Payments, etc.)
• Vacancy Products - Focuses on all aspects of the vacancy phase (Leasing, Turns, Inspections, etc.).
• Accounting - Infrastructure for double-entry accrual and cash book-keeping, AR/AP systems
• Reporting - In-house reporting capabilities for accounting and operational reporting
• Data Science - Building tools enabling automated decisioning to optimize SFR portfolio performance
• Core Services - Infra which enables discovery/search, communications, and notifications across Darwin's software.

$225,000 - $275,000 a year
