The Work Management for All (WM4A) product leader is looking for an exceptional Chief of Staff to partner closely with our WM4A Head of Product and extended leadership leadership team and provide strategic support in managing day-to-day operations, driving cross-functional alignment, and fostering effective decision-making. The Chief of Staff will serve as a trusted advisor to our Head of Product and other senior executives, enabling seamless communication, orchestrating key initiatives, and ensuring successful execution. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Support: Collaborate with the Head of Product and executive team to define and execute Atlassian's strategic goals and initiatives, ensuring alignment across the organization.

  • Operations Optimization: Streamline operational processes, identify opportunities for efficiency gains, and drive effective resource allocation to enhance overall productivity.

  • Cross-functional Coordination: Facilitate collaboration and communication among different departments and teams, ensuring alignment and fostering a culture of transparency and shared goals.

  • Project Management: Lead and support strategic projects and initiatives, overseeing timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Data Analysis and Insights: Gather and analyze relevant data to generate insights, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making at the executive level.

  • Change Management: Champion and support organizational change efforts, facilitating smooth transitions and fostering a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement.

  • Leadership Development: Support the professional growth and development of team members, fostering a culture of learning and providing mentorship and guidance.

  • Extensive professional experience solving complex problems in fast-growing organizations.

  • Experience in diagnosing pain points for teams, moving them to good, and going the extra mile to ensure they are great.

  • An analytic prowess, drive to support decisions with data, and the ability to make data digestible to varied audiences.

  • The humility to augment the leader with the single purpose of making the TEAM successful.

  • Strong communication skills, constantly connecting dots and people, and can accurately capture important messages.

Qualifications:

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $231,500 - $308,600

Zone B: $208,300 - $277,800

Zone C: $192,100 - $256,200

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
