Group Home Manager

East Coast Habilitation Options, Inc. (a Group Home organization for behaviorally challenged adolescents and adults) is looking for EXPERIENCED Managers in the Home and Community Based Services industry. The role of Residential Group Home Manager includes:

*Training and supervising Group Home staff members

*Reviewing medical, behavioral and other clinical documentation to assure completion and compliance

*Working with Behavior Analysts to assure proper physical interventions and behavioral interactions with residents

*Accompanying residents to their medical appointments, assuring their health and safety

*Planning and/or Assisting with Resident Community Outings

*Working with ECHO Administration to assure Residents are happy and their needs are met

The typical work schedule requirements of a Residential Group Home Manager include:

*An average work week generally consists of 3 late afternoon shifts (Ex: 12 pm - 9 pm) and 2 business hour shifts (Ex: 8 am – 5 pm), along with a 2 weekend “on call” days each month. This is a salaried position, managing a “24/7” Group Home, so the needs of the Manager position and schedules vary.

There are supervisors in place to assist during nights and weekends, but Managers are expected to be available to respond “in case of emergency” at any time, as the need arises.
