Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Residential Group Home Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities or autism, ensuring their well-being and promoting a positive living environment. As the IB Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Group Home, implementing individualized behavior plans, and leading a team of dedicated staff.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Supervision:
- Supervise and lead a team of direct support professionals, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to individualized behavior plans.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to staff for the effective implementation of care plans and behavioral interventions.
Individualized Behavior Planning:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized behavior plans for residents.
- Monitor and adjust behavior plans based on ongoing assessments and resident progress.
Daily Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Residential Group Home, including scheduling, meal planning, and coordination of activities.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for residents.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Maintain open communication with residents, their families, and external support networks.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, therapists, and community resources to enhance resident care.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes, incident reports, and individual records, and staff certifications.
Technology Implementation:
- Proficiently use iConnect, Train Florida, and other systems to train document, train deadlines are met.
- Stay updated on the latest technological advancements to enhance the quality of care provided.
Financial Management:
- Oversee the overall financial health of the Group Home.
- Manage individual resident accounts, including budgeting, financial planning, and compliance.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, etc.) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a residential setting for individuals with Developmental Disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), behavior management, and person-centered planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and external stakeholders.
- Must have valid Driver's License and the ability to be ensured on company auto policy
