We are seeking a Graphic Designer in our Charlevoix location to join the Marketing Team for our growing areas of business, including: High Format, Manthei Supply, Manthei Construction and more. In this role, you will work as part of a team to support the marketing strategies of each brand, and build our image in the marketplace.

High Format is a growing producer of thoughtfully designed concrete landscape products for the Great Lakes region with production plants in Northern Michigan and South East Wisconsin.

Manthei Supply is a leading landscape supply resource in Northern Michigan with stores in Charlevoix and Traverse City. Our massive stone yards, design showrooms and knowledgeable team supports everyone from contractors, designers and homeowners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain consistency throughout marketing collateral by following brand standards
• Create compelling graphic compositions with clear messaging
• Produce and maintain literature including annual catalogs, magazines, technical guides, brochures, advertisements, billboards and other media
• Create design templates for internal team and cooperative marketing purposes
• Maintain digital asset management system
• Assist in the creation of digital content across multiple channels for our various departments as needed
• Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services and to help drive customers toward action as needed
• Assist in photography and video projects as needed
• Assist on special projects for the larger Manthei Group as needed
• Some travel and lifting will be required for activities such as photo shoots and events
• Perform other marketing duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Professional graphic design experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, or a related field
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Experience creating print-ready files for publication
• Experience in photo editing

Preferred Characteristics

• Self-motivated
• Able to work as part of a team on multiple projects
• Hands on and willing to dig in to accomplish projects and tasks
• Experience writing short and long-form content
• Some website experience may be helpful
• Knowledge of the landscape and construction industry helpful, but not required
